What makes your best friend so special?
Submitted by Jessmiloo.
Well, it's that silly adage: My best friend knows everything there is to know about me and loves me anyway. Seriously though, I trust her like no one else and she's never let me down. She is a steadfast friend as I am to her and always will be. I am so privileged to be her friend, much less her best friend.
Where do you get recommendations for new books to read?
I usually get recommendations from friends but if I'm in a bookstore or library, I like to look at the books that catch my eye and see if maybe I'd be interested in reading them too.

Geeze. I absolutely can't remember. If I had to make a guess, I'd say one of my cousins on my dad's side. I distinctly remember one of them telling me he'd show me his if I showed him mine .. I was not quite 5 years old at the time.
When driving alone, what do you do? Sing along to the radio? Think about your day? Something else?

I pay attention to traffic. Sometimes I listen to music, sometimes not but either way, I'm doing my best to pay attention. Sometimes it's (mentally) exhausting but I can't seem to relax since that terrible accident 3 years ago.

Where do you consider home? Is it the place you grew up; the place you're currently living? Why is it home?
Submitted by uncagedbird.
I consider Colorado, in its entirety, home. We moved here when I was 12. My father was in the Army and before moving here, we lived in Germany, Kansas, Indiana and Texas. Since turning 17, I've lived in Oregon, Washington and Massachusetts. I keep coming back. Big, blue and sunny skies, clean air, beautiful mountains, warm days and cool nights, I can't think of any other place I'd rather live ..
